2nd of July – Gabriel

2nd of July 2010.

Today at long last I finally came to meet and film with Gabriel R..

Gabriel is one of the Anne Frank 4.

So at 7h30 am I accompanied Gabriel or rather followed him with my Camera, from his home to the Richard Mitttermaier schule in Freiburg and back using buses and trams. We were at all time accompanied by Michaela, his mother.

I then spent the morning with Gabriel and some of his school mates, in his classroom, and in the courtyard, all of which would normally not have been quite possible had they kept to the original program. Some parents have expressed strong reservations to this project. I hope we will be able to show them  the pictures I have filmed thus far .

I will do my best to find the time to go back to get to film some of the more normal situations in the near future as well as produce interviews with the director and teachers.
